And yes you are in for a real steep learning curve with PT12 and all the new features. I would see if you can go backwards to Yosemite or forward to Sierra. I'm now looking at updating my Pro Tools 8 set up but things seem to have changed SO much since 2009 I feel like a dinosaur! As I understand my 003 will still work as an interface (thanks to Chris for the info!) but now I need to know if:ĭoes Pro Tools 12 need to be constantly connected to the internet to check your license? (I work offline mostly when using Pro Tools)Īnd is Pro Tools 12 as user friendly as PT 8? Or am I in for a steep learning curve?!?!
